Empowered Through Backpacks

Take a look at two of our amazing refugees with their new backpacks! These students are refugees who relocated from Malaysia. One of them is in seventh grade and is working towards his dream of becoming a pilot (Coincidentally his backpack has airplanes on it). The other student is in fifth grade and wishes to be a doctor when she grows up. We’re cheering them on and helping them succeed in any way we can. Today, we gave them new backpacks to empower these two bright students to work towards their educational goals. Education is an essential foundation in order to succeed and by providing these tools, we hope that these students will be better equipped to learn in the classroom and achieve their goals.
