Teaching About Famous Refugee Women Scientist

On November 15th, Hands for Henna partnered with COAR, an ASU club that tutors refugee students from Crockett Elementary! After learning about the scientific method and refugee women scientists, we made invisible ink and lava lamps with the kids! We also left these wonderful children with gift bags full of school supplies, uniforms, and a toy that inspired them to pursue their future dream careers.

A special thank you to COAR and Ashley for allowing us to come in and spend an evening with these inspiring kids! #educate #elevate #empower
