On April 11th, COAR partnered with Hands for Henna to teach a class at Crockett Elementary. The students got to learn about famous refugees in physics such as Albert Einstein and Elizabeth Rona.
They also got to learn about physics, make homemade kaleidoscopes, and practice their art skills!
At the end of the day, all the students received customized gift bags with their favorite book, a uniform shirt, and wide smiles.
We are continuing to empower young girls and boys through education with a side of fun, so keep updated with the blog and our future activities! Stay tuned for more workshops and classes.
